This is a medium-bodied, silky-textured, luscious, modern-styled Cote Rotie to enjoy over the next 5-7 years. The president of the syndicate of Cote Rotie growers, the young, dynamic, and talented Jean-Michel Gerin continues to build a strong following for his progressive, modern-styled, barrique-aged Cote Roties. Gerin’s 2000 Cote Roties are extremely successful (he eliminated 60% of the crop through severe pruning and grape cutting in the vineyard).
