The 2013 Coeur a Coeur, a blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, is a decidedly rich, ripe white. Honey, candied apricot, mint, chamomile and wild flowers are some of the signatures. Today, the alcohol is a bit prominent. It will be interesting to see if things settle down with more time in bottle. In my view, the 2013 lacks the balance of the best whites in this lineup.

Abundant notes of pineapples, mangoes, honeysuckle, candle wax, ripe, juicy, buttery melons and citrus emerge from this deep, full-bodied white.
