2014 Dandelion - Riesling Enchanted Garden of the Eden Valley

(made from vines that were reportedly planted in 1910; no residual sugar): Pale, green-tinged yellow. Fresh, mineral-accented peach and quince aromas are complicated by suggestions of jasmine and diesel. Perfumed and sharply focused, offering vibrant orchard and pit fruit flavors and a zesty jolt of bitter orange pith. Closes tangy and quite long, with impressive energy and mineral bite. This Riesling shows a distinct fleshiness in spite of the fact that it is bone-dry.
