1960 Sandeman Vintage Port

Tasted with Sophia Bergqvist at Quinta de la Rosa whose oldest bottle this was. Pale ruby. Light, fresh, round impression on the nose. Very, very sweet on the palate. In the old days the fruit from Quinta de la Rosa was all sold to Sandeman and they sometimes bought back the wine from Sandeman. In good shape considering its age, although on the way down. (JR)
