Mid ruby, light nose with some mossiness. Very round, juicy fruit hit on the front palate followed by some tightening up, almost like a drawstring bag, on the back palate. A little dry on the finish. Acidity certainly present. Sappy. (JR)

(the estate's 2004s were bottled at the end of August, 2005) Pear and flowers on the muted nose. Sweet pear and floral flavors show good intensity but slightly tart acidity. Not fleshy but fresh and persistent.

Closed at the moment. Slightly herbal but not green. Intense and peppery. Spicy on the tongue tip. Rapier-like and impressive, but needs time to fill out. (JH) Very, very cool and restrained. Sweet. Relatively simple, but easy. (JR)
