2000 Yeringberg - Red

Slightly sweeter than the 1999 as well as riper is the dark ruby/purple-colored 2000 Proprietary Red (66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot, and 5% Malbec). Aromas and flavors of chocolate, licorice, berry fruit, vanilla, and white flowers emerge from this deep ruby/purple-colored 2000. With superb ripeness, good underlying acidity, and well-integrated high but mature tannin, this beautiful offering should be at its prime in 2-3 years, and last for 15+.
