That lovely cedary complexity that is a bit like linseed but much nicer. Silky texture, spiced even though it is bone dry. Broad and cedary on the palate. More character and less finesse than the 2017 tasted before bottling. (JH)

The 2011 Meursault Les Meix Chavaux is showing well, wafting from the glass with notes of citrus oil, white flowers, crushed chalk and a light framing of reduction. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, incisive and electric, with searing intensity, chalky extract and a long, vibrant finish.
Pale greenish yellow. Smoky, iodine, lipsmacking fruit. Lots of precision. Not as dense as the 2012 but more fun and juicier. Long. Charming, Accessible. (JR)
(the last 2011 bottled, in April of this year): Bright yellow-green. Lemon, lime, minerals and white truffle on the nose. Ripe, rich and rather powerful, with yellow fruit flavors enlivened by a sound citric underpinning. Lovely texture and balance here, and long and vibrant on the aftertaste.
