Note di degustazione
Taken from a new barrel before racking, the 2014 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru has an impressive, detailed nose that demands inspection: tightly wound blackberry and bilberry fruit, tangible cold wet limestone scents, perhaps more Mazoyères in style (which is logical since that is where the vines are located). The palate reverts back to Charmes-Chambertin - silky and smooth in texture, perhaps just needing a little more depth right on the finish, but nicely sustained in the mouth. This has more to show down the line.
