The deep ruby-colored 2016 Pinot Noir Sierra Mar offers more smoky earth and spice as well as notes of mulled cherry and spicy wood. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured, and layered, it’s already delicious yet will keep for 7-8 years as well.

Vivid ruby-red. Cherry compote, black raspberry, cola and mocha on the highly fragrant, spice-accented nose. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering sweet red and blue fruit flavors that deepen slowly while maintaining urgency. A smoky nuance comes up on a long, gently tannic finish that leaves sweet mocha and vanilla notes behind.
Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2016 Pinot Noir Sierra Mar Vineyard offers up red roses, chocolate covered cherries and menthol notes with hints of incense and black tea. Full-bodied, opulent and with quite a lot of power, it has a nice chewy backbone and great length.
