Pale yellow color. Buttery, peachy nose is lush and open-knit. Round, supple and sweet, with notes of macadamia and ripe pear. Distinctly velvety on the finish, with a late note of nougat.

For those lucky enough to find a bottle or two (150 cases produced), the 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape blanc is a super effort. A blend of equal portions of Roussanne and Grenache Blanc, it possesses a wonderful texture, considerable opulence, low acidity, and plenty of power/potency.
