Note di degustazione
Moderately saturated medium red. Aromas and flavors of red berries, flowers and minerals are quite ethereal in the context of the vintage but there are earth and spice notes here as well. Juicy and dry on the palate, with surprising mineral energy giving this wine a light touch. Finishes with good lift and a lingering note of flinty minerality.

The 2015 Vougeot 1er Cru Petit Vougeot has an open-knit bouquet with generous morello cherry and crushed strawberry scents. entwined with blood orange and Satsuma aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, a fine line of acidity, though it just clams up a little towards the finish. Give this a couple of years in bottle.
Other owners of Petits Vougeots are: Bertagna, Roux, Hudelot Noëllat and Clerget. Very close to Amoureuses. Just racked into tank prior to tasting. Meat and two veg on the nose. Not fruit and flowers. Silky texture. Very round and charming already. Maybe not one of the most intense but lots of appeal. (JR)
Bright, moderately saturated medium red. Perfumed aromas and flavors of red cherry, strawberry, game and rose petal. Plush and silky on the palate, with lovely balancing acidity framing and energizing the fruit. Finishes with seamless, fully integrated tannins and sneaky length. Fourrier describes this wine as "a smaller-scaled Amoureuses in style"--and now, through his négociant business, he also offers a real Amoureuses.
