2015 Frank Cornelissen Magma

Black tea, underbrush, tobacco and earth tones form a mature bouquet as the 2015 Rosso Magma opens in the glass. This shows significant clarity on the palate, cool-toned with silky textures and ripe red fruits, showing its age through a slightly dark minerality that emerges toward the close. It leaves the palate stained in primary concentration with adolescent tannins and a nervous feel that puckers the cheeks. While showing its age on the nose, the 2015 is amazingly energetic and spry throughout. With that said, make sure that this wine is acquired through trusted sources, as no sulfur was added to the 2015 vintage.
