The 2017 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru bristles with energy and tension. Reticent and shut down, the 2017 is in no mood to show all of its cards just yet; even so, the silky, polished and nuanced texture that is such a Preuses signature is very much in evidence. Crushed flowers, mint, green apple, spice and crushed rocks infuse the beautifully delineated, crystalline finish. This is such a gorgeous and promising wine.
