The 2021 Soave Classico La Froscà is youthfully coy in the glass, requiring coaxing to release its delicate blend of chamomile, lemon zest and nectarine. This is silky in texture and perfumed throughout, with a tart twist of lime that perfectly offsets its crisp green apple fruit. The 2021 finishes long and staining, leaving a citrusy concentration and mineral crunchiness. There’s so much going on here, but the 2021 La Froscà will require cellaring to come fully into focus.
