Mineral and savory nose with lots of crushed stones, iron, seaweed, spiced blood orange and cranberries. Structured and vertical on the palate but nothing fleshy here. It shows more mineral tension and tautness than fruit. A pure, long Nebbiolo Langhe that gives clarity and precision. Already very drinkable now, but can hold as well.

Very pale ruby indeed. Sweet, scented violets on the nose. Wonderfully gentle and soothing. No tannin in evidence. Ready to gobble already. Pure pleasure! But for fairly early drinking, despite the long finish. (JR)
