2011 Ar. Pe. Pe. Rosso di Valtellina

The regular bottling from old vines at 450m with just four days' maceration and nine months ageing. Pale ruby. Really intense rosy/fruity, very charming nose. Lightweight and delightfully pungent. There's the characteristic 'warm rocks' flavour and great precision. Here's a wine for those who seek more flavour than body – a sort of red Riesling?! Very savoury finish.
