Note di degustazione
Bright, deep red. Slightly reduced aromas of creme de cassis and exotic flowers. Still youthfully tight and dominated by its spine of acidity and penetrating minerality, but the lovely floral character conveys great early sex appeal. Not a weighty wine but intense, sharply delineated and built for aging. I'd check in on this one in six or seven years.

Good medium red. Reticent but nuanced nose suggests wild raspberry, dried flowers and smoked meat. Juicy, high-pitched and tight, with superb intensity and a captivating floral aspect. A strong crushed stone and mineral character gives this a sappy quality and great refinement. Finishes long and sweet, with great finesse. Ultimately more complex than the Echezeaux but cool and reserved today. The pH of 3.39 was the lowest of Magnien's 2005s. A fascinating sample.
