Still drinking nicely, the 2016 Miraval Côtes De Provence Rosé lacks a touch of the vibrancy found in the 2017, yet is certainly still impressive and I’d happily drink a glass. Raspberries, orange blossom, and spicy characteristics all emerge from this medium-bodied, supple, nicely polished rosé that's best drunk up over the coming 3-6 months.
Limpid orange-pink. High-pitched aromas of fresh red berries and blood orange, along with hints of honeysuckle and peach. Silky and precise in the mouth, offering nicely concentrated strawberry, tangerine and floral pastille flavors that spread out steadily on the back half. Finishes minerally and long, showing suave, floral-driven persistence.
