1981 Trimbach Riesling Clos St-Hune

There are matured stone fruit aromas on the fresh and clear nose, with some stony and herbal aromas, of the 1981 Riesling Clos Ste Hune. The wine is dry and fresh, very straight and mineral; it is really dry and historically relevant because this style was THE style for dry Riesling. The wine is fresh, and still has some tension and vitality. Not very complex but with energy and drive.
