2010 Domaine Pierre Gonon Saint-Joseph Blanc Les Oliviers

Pale gold. Mineral-driven, intensely perfumed aromas of pear, lime pith and lemongrass, with a spicy overtone. Racy, sharply focused citrus and orchard fruit flavors pack an impressive punch without showing any excess weight, and gain sweetness and a gingery nuance with air. The strikingly pure finish clings with excellent tenacity and resonating mineral and spice notes. I really like this wine's balance and tension.
