The 2015 Chardonnay Sisters has a very pretty nose of white peach, quince and Meyer lemon with nuances of honey toast, citrus blossom and warm hay. Medium-bodied, it’s very open and giving in the mouth with flavors of quince, tangy lime peel, peach and notes of honey and baked almonds. It’s got bright acidity and a touch of phenolic texture to carry the very long minerally finish.

Limpid yellow-gold. Vibrant, mineral-accented aromas of peach, Anjou pear, melon and Meyer lemon, along with a bright floral overtone. Juicy and densely packed, displaying a deft interplay of richness and vivacity to the citrus and orchard fruit flavors. Picks up smoky lees, honey and iodine nuances with air and shows excellent clarity and back-end lift. The strikingly long, penetrating finish echoes the mineral and citrus fruit notes and betrays no rough edges.
Picked 23 August! The wine I tasted a year ago. Named after Larry's mother and aunt. Mainly from Bunker Hill vineyard at 650ft. 20 year old vines. Planted by the team that planted the famous Seven Springs vineyard. Friendlier, riper nose than the Avni. Very crisp and refreshing with some lime juice. A real wake-up call in terms of acidity though! The high acid movement is gaining ground in Oregon, I'm told, although it is by no means the mainstream yet. Super clean and juicy.
