Note di degustazione
Deep, dark red. Sexy, musky scents of plum, spices, mocha and sweet oak. Supple, fine-grained and sweet; saturates the mouth with intense fruit and spice flavors without leaving any impression of weight. Finishes quite long, with suave supporting tannins and lingering spiciness. This chewy, firmly tannic Cabernet turned a bit drier with air, suggesting that it should be consumed in the next several years, but it's a very successful '91 and still full of life. (13.9% alcohol)

(13.9% alcohol; 27% Chabot, 30% St. Helena, 40% Bancroft and 3% Cabernet Franc): Deep red with ruby tones. Aromas of blackberry, violet and licorice pastille. Densely packed and sharply delineated, with vibrant black fruit, licorice and crushed rock flavors accented by sweet spices. Still tightly wound owing to strong, harmonious acidity. Finishes long and subtle, with noteworthy spicy energy and a firm tannic spine. This should continue to unwind with more aging.
