The 2009 Chambertin is utterly impeccable from start to finish. Layers of fruit fill out the wine's broad-shouldered frame, leading to a voluptuous, seamless crescendo of aromas and flavors. The 2009 possesses tons of intensity and fabulous overall balance. What a great showing.

Pretty snazzy concentration with round polish. Clearly very fine though much more obvious sweetness than some of the classic Chambertins. Sweet and easy and trying quite hard to get serious. Flattering. Great to have a chance to taste it. (JR)
