Note di degustazione
Full ruby. Cassis, spicecake, bitter chocolate and a whiff of potpourri on the assertively perfumed nose. Rich, chewy and pliant, with impressive definition to its dark fruit preserve and floral pastille flavors. Supple tannins add shape but disappear beneath the lush dark fruit on the strikingly long, spice-accented finish.

Deep ruby. Brooding dark fruit and floral qualities on the nose, with hints of licorice and roasted plum emerging with air. Weighty, palate-staining blackberry and bitter cherry flavors are complicated by notes of candied violet and black pepper, with a touch of minerality adding lift. The broad, chewy finish evokes elements of smoked meat and licorice as well as solid, gripping tannins. Less seductive than the regular bottling but more serious. This will age well, Faurie thinks.
