Note di degustazione
Bright straw-yellow. Aromas of yellow peach and spicy minerality, plus a suggestion of soft citrus fruit. The creamiest and most open-knit of these Meursault bottlings, but with no shortage of underlying acidity and minerality to buffer its sweetness. Displays the density and thickness of the vintage's better examples but harmonious acidity gives it energy. Not the last word in finesse but boasts a lovely glyceral texture and mounts nicely on the aftertaste. I'd start drinking this wine before the Chevalières.

Light and smoky on the nose. Already drinkable though not quite as intense as some. Correct. (JR)
Pale green-tinged yellow. A touch reduced on the nose, hinting at lemon, lime and mint. Tactile and juicy but without the cut or energy of the Chevalières. Here the citrus flavors are riper and there's less stony cut and austerity. Still rather closed but this wine nonetheless has an easygoing charm and will probably drink before the Chevalières.
