Very dark and brooding. Rich, opulent yet also savoury nose – excellent intensity. Very pure and whistle clean – well worth the premium over the regular Crozes. Polished tannins but no sacrifice of character. The quality of Crozes really seems in the ascendant. No heat but firm. (JR)
