Note di degustazione
Moderately saturated dark red. Discreet but pure aromas of redcurrant, minerals and spices. Moderately dense and plush but with good definition and saline complexity to its red berry and dark chocolate flavors. Finishes dry and classic, with fine-grained tannins.

Rigorous and pretty strict. Dry finish. Very narrow on the palate but good vigour. (JR)
(all of the Tardy wines labeled by their lieux-dits are single-parcel bottlings; this one is from a vineyard situated below Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots; the crop level in 2014 was normal here at about 43 hectoliters per hectare): Deep red with ruby tones. Purple fruits and violet on the nose and palate. Juicy, spicy and brisk; a bit lean but with very good definition and cut. Finishes saline and a touch gamey, with thick but ultimately velvety tannins. Tardy noted that these 30-year-old vines are the estate's youngest and that the normally very small berries typically ripen well.
The 2014 Vosne Romanée Vigneux has a precise bouquet, here with a subtle earthy, undergrowth element, a splash of cola among the red and black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, moderate acidity, good density with black cherry and a touch of sea salt towards the structured, masculine finish that should soften by the time of bottling. This might well be one of the picks from Monsieur Tardy.
