Note di degustazione
The 2021 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills Vineyards is remarkably pretty, with a floral bouquet blending dried strawberries, rose petals and hints of clove. It's juicy and round, contrasting tart wild berry fruits and sour citrus. This finishes on a savory note, leaving suggestions of raspberry and lavender to slowly fade.

Entirely from estate fruit from what used to be called Dundee Hills Vineyard, the 2021 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills Vineyards pours a medium ruby hue and reveals aromas of cherry liqueur, wild herbs, and fresh flowers. Ripe and medium-bodied, with juicy fruit up front while having tangy, fresh acidity, it offers fine tannins and a rounded mouthfeel. It’s an attractive entry to the range for drinking over the next few years. Co-owners Bill Sweat and Donna Morris biodynamically farm 41 acres, primarily to Pinot Noir, although they also produce Chardonnay and a small amount of Pinot Meunier, as well as sourcing some purchased fruit. They have been certified Biodynamic by Demeter since 2015. The wines for this report were tasted at their tasting room in July 2023.
