The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Songbook checks in as 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot, hitting a natural alcohol of 14.3%. This dense purple effort gives up an incredibly opulent, full-bodied, expansive, yet also elegant and seamless style as well as textbook earthy currants, tobacco, lead pencil, and floral aromas and flavors. Perfectly balanced, layered, and concentrated on the palate, it has wonderful depth and intensity, ripe tannins, and one hell of an incredible finish. It's one of the gems in the vintage and will cruise in cold cellars for at least two decades. 491 cases.
