2014 Caterwaul Cabernet Sauvignon Regusci Vineyard Stags Leap District

This 2014 is the first vintage of this new wine. Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 “Regusci Vineyard” Cabernet Sauvignon has an intensely scented nose of crushed wild blueberries, blackberry preserves and mulberries with touches of incense, cigar boxes, menthol, lavender and wild thyme. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is beautifully understated with plenty of savory and earthy layers emerging through the refreshing black and blue flavors, framed by firm, grainy tannins and finishing with a compelling herbal lift. 260 cases were produced.
