Family-owned property, organic certified. 86% Sauvignon Blanc, 12% Sauvignon Gris, 2% Sémillon. The second release of this wine (since the label resurfaced). This wine is from Rudd's Mt Veeder Estate. Harvest 4–18 September. Aged in 38% neutral oak, 32% concrete, 14% amphora, 9% new French oak, 7% stainless steel for 8 months. Light fining and filtration. Very fresh and vibrant, passion fruit, honeysuckle, beeswax, mandarin orange, makrut lime, vanilla, purple chive blossoms, fennel seed, lime curd, bright, juicy acidity. (SCJ)

The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is laced with exotic white flowers, citrus, orchard fruit and pineapple overtones. Drink this bright, crisp white from Rudd's Crossroads sister label over the next few years.
This is the first re-launching of this “Crossroads” label, so that now all Rudd’s viable fruit is being used by the estate. Composed of 86% Sauvignon Blanc, 12% Sauvignon Gris and 2% Semillon and fermented in 9% new oak, 38% neutral oak and 32% concrete, the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc Crossroads by Rudd was aged for 9 months. It boldly springs from the glass with notes of lemon tart, fresh peaches and lime cordial plus hints of chalk dust, almonds and fresh hay. Medium-bodied, the palate has fantastic tension and energy with loads of vibrant citrus fruit flavors on offer, crisp acidity and a long, steely finish. 906 cases were made.
