Punteggio 17/20 · Da bere 2026-2033, Jancis Robinson MW, Mar 2025
90% Mourvedre, 10% Grenache. Lots of bretty, barnyardy character. Underneath there's black cherries, leather, iron, smoke and charred meat. Intense and powerful. Grainy tannins. It's just entering the cusp of its drinking window but will continue to develop for several more years. (JRL)

Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2019-2035, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, May 2019
Mocha, cola, earth and caramel notes appear on the nose of the 2016 Bandol, a blend of 90% Mourvèdre and 10% Grenache. This is all dark fruit and savory nuance, full-bodied, richly concentrated, creamy and lush, yet it's chewy and tannic on the long, spicy finish. It can be consumed now with rare beef or lamb to help with the tannins, or be aged for up to 15 years.
