1996 Deutz Brut Millésimé Cuvée William Deutz Rosé

Pale silvery-salmon color. Ripe raspberry, spices, creamed corn and earth on the nose, along with a whiff of shittake mushroom and a suggestion of Vitamin B. Brisk and fruity, with a bit simple, the red berry flavors are somewhat dulled by toast and earth notes. Stilll, the acids seem a bit elevated.
