The 2020 Chardonnay Rachael's Vineyard has a delicate perfume of green pears, honeysuckle, sliced almonds, flint and toasted meringue. The medium-bodied palate has a satiny texture and tangy, citrusy focus at this youthful stage, finishing long and textural. It may flesh out with another year or two in bottle.

The 2020 Chardonnay Rachael's Vineyard is very nicely done. It has just enough mid-palate depth and pliancy to fill out its mid-weight frame. Lemon confit, pear, lime, white flowers and sage all run through this classy, understated Chardonnay from Tom Rochioli.
