The 2017 Chardonnay Rachael's Vineyard is scented of pure quince peel, green pear and apple fruit with a streak of wet stone and hints of toast and dried flowers. The mineral-driven, medium-bodied palate is pure and lively with savory tones on the long finish. A very elegant expression this year.

The 2017 Chardonnay Rachael's Vineyard is compelling – rich and sumptuous in the glass, but displaying the bright aromatics that are typical of Mt. Eden Clone Chardonnays. The interplay of tropical fruit and floral, lifted aromas makes for a complete, alluring Chardonnay of the highest level.
