The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper is a candidate for perfection. Truly compelling wine, with a dark bluish purple color and an extraordinary nose of burning embers, scorched earth, blackberry and cassis, this multi-layered, skyscraper-like wine has an unctuous texture, remarkable concentration of fruit, and a long finish with lavish fruit extract covering moderately intense tannins.
