Punteggio 90-92/100 · Da bere 2020-2034, Neal Martin, Jan 2019

The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from Les Renardes, on the border with Ladoix at the top of the slope. It has a quite concentrated bouquet of dried honey, almond, hazelnut and a touch of white chocolate. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity, and quite linear and strict, perhaps needing just a little more substance to develop on the finish. At the moment, I have a preference for the Corton Blanc.

Punteggio 93-95/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2019

The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is excellent, unfurling in the glass with notes of lime and lemon oil, crushed chalky, blanched almonds, dried white flowers and wet stones. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with chewy extract, tangy acids and a long, chalky finish. It's a very promising rendition of a cuvée that flies somewhat under the radar.
