2018 Lucien Le Moine Chambolle-Musigny Les Hauts-Doix 1er Cru

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Hauts Doix is showing beautifully, unwinding in the glass with a deep bouquet of black raspberries, exotic spices, dried flowers and incense, mingled with carnal nuances of grilled pigeon. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's layered and textural, with ample reserves of refined, powdery tannins and lively acids framing its concentrated core of fruit. Long and penetrating, this will reward bottle age.
