Note di degustazione
With a delicate, beautifully reduced and smoky bouquet, the 2022 Saint-Joseph les Oliviers Blanc unfurls from the glass with aromas of acacia, white flowers, honey and spices, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, layered and textured palate with bright acids, a lively spine of acidity and a subtle phenolic frame. It concludes with a long, spicy and saline finish.

The 2016 Saint Joseph Les Oliviers Blanc is tighter and more focused, with ample minerality in its apple blossom, citrus, and honeyed aromas and flavors. A rich, medium to full-bodied, concentrated white, with good acidity and length, it’s drinking great today but will hold for another 2-3 years, and keep even longer if you’re so inclined.
This has a wealth of nougat, honey and butterscotch with grilled peaches and spiced pears. The palate is glossy, smooth and even. Terrific length. Concentrated, fresh-pear, spiced-melon and honey flavors. Nice and compact. Drink or hold.
Limpid yellow-gold. Intense, mineral-accented Meyer lemon, peach and pear aromas are complemented by deeper honey and sweet butter nuances. Tightly wound citrus and pit fruit flavors unfurl with air, picking up a suave floral character and a hint of smoky minerality. The impressively long, penetrating finish shows no rough edges and leaves behind lively citrus pith and honeysuckle notes.
