The 2020 Chardonnay Unfiltered is fresher and steely, with bright, honeyed apple and floral notes to go with a medium-bodied, focused, yet balanced style on the palate. It’s a Chardonnay that makes you salivate and has an almost Chablis-like vibe. It too should keep for at least 2-4 years.

Pure and creamy nose with some toasted hazelnut to the lemons and nectarines. Lightly briny on the palate, with a fine, mineral touch to the long, creamy finish. Drink now or hold.
Newton's 2020 Chardonnay Unfiltered was saved from the Glass Fire by virtue of already being in the winery's underground caves. As usual, it's gently toasty, with notes of hazelnut, peach, melon and citrus. Medium to full-bodied but crisp and zesty, there's an attractive yin-yang of buttered popcorn and lime zest on the long finish.
