Note di degustazione
The prodigious 1999 Zinfandel Moore (Earthquake) Vineyard (490 cases, 16.4% natural alcohol) possesses an opaque dense ruby/purple color. It offers explosive yet elegant aromas of blackberries, pepper, and black cherries as well as full body, low acidity, and magnificent fruit concentration. A long, intense, smooth, peppery personality will be a crowd-pleaser. A remarkable effort, it will develop even more complexity over the next 7-10 years. Tel. (707) 963-0940

Medium ruby. Crystallized berries, pepper, flint and minerals on the nose. Sweet, lush and minerally in the mouth, with an almost shockingly suave, smooth texture. Nothing rustic about this zinfandel. Finishes ripely tannic, silky and long, with subtle berry and mineral notes. Goes way beyond the '98 bottling.
