Another Russian River release, the 2019 Pinot Noir Chappellet Grower Collection Apple Lane Vineyard reveals a medium ruby/plum color as well as textbook, spice, and cola-laced aromas and flavors of red and black fruits, sassafras, sweet earth, and forest floor. It's soft and forward, with ripe tannins and a good finish. It should shine for 4-6 years.
