Punteggio 88/100 · Da bere 2014-2017, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Apr 2014

The 2010 Saint Aubin La Princee has a welcoming, well-defined bouquet that is understated at first, but opens nicely with scents of green apple, lime flower and a dab of spice. The palate has marked acidity on the entry. This might not be Olivier Lamy’s most complex 2010, but it has an appealing penetration that calls out for a fresh plate of mussels! Very fine. Drink now-2017. Importer: Becky Wasserman Selections (Le Serbet) and through various US importers (see www.leserbet.com for full list) and through Lea & Sandeman (UK)

Aromas of stone and menthol. Spicy and saline in the mouth, with strong lemony cut giving this village wine a rather serious mien. Finishes with enticing soft citrus lift. This large (i.e., 25,000 bottles) cuvee represents an assemblage of ten plots. Olivier Lamy compared this wine to the 2008 but said it has more concentration of fruit. "But other domains had higher yields in 2010 than we did," he told me, adding that production here was in the low 30 to 35 hectoliters-per-hectare range in 2010.
