A deeper, more saturated purple/magenta color, the 2022 Zinfandel Mancini is ripe with aromas of blackberry compote, cigar box, wild forest herbs, and sweet tobacco. Full-bodied, it has great acidity driving the wine, but it’s fantastically balanced with a mouthwatering persistence and retains its incredible structure, with ripe tannins and a long, long finish. This is stunning. Drink 2026-2040.

The 2022 Zinfandel Mancini Ranch is redolent of black cherry, spice, new leather, incense, chocolate and dried herbs. The darker, more virile side of Zinfandel comes through loud and clear. Carignan, Petite Sirah, Abouriou and Grand Noir round out this field blend, planted in 1922. This opens beautifully with time in the glass.
