The 2015 Syrah Rogers LA Herradura Vineyard is a riveting example of Napa Valley Syrah, offering a smoky, bacon fat, cured meat-driven bouquet that’s balanced by rock star blueberry and black fruits. Deep, medium to full-bodied, with a layered, complex style and sweet tannins on the palate, drink it any time over the coming 7-8 years.

The 2015 Syrah La Herradura comes from Conn Valley, showing great fruit, plenty of raw beef and black olives. It is deep, rich, chewy and Tor Kenward said it may be the last Syrah they make. No doubt it is a difficult market selling Syrah, which doesn’t make sense, but it is what it is.
