2017 Domaine Faury St. Joseph Rouge

Opaque ruby. Intensely perfumed aromas of ripe red and dark berries, violet and smoky minerals, accompanied by a hint of olive that sneaks up with air. Sappy and focused on the palate, offering lively, spice-tinged black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that turn sweeter through the midpalate. Finishes quite long, with lingering sweetness, very good clarity and gentle tannic grip.
