2015 Parent - Beaune Les Epenottes 1er Cru

The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru les Epenottes contains 25% whole cluster fruit. It has a very elegant and pure bouquet with vibrant red cherry and strawberry aromas, a hint of vanilla pod just in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannin. There is good body here, well-judged acidity with a touch of piquancy on the finish that is welcomed. Perhaps earlier drinking than other Beaune premier crus, nevertheless this is a well-crafted wine.
