2005 Domaine Vincent Girardin Echézeaux Vieilles Vignes

Good medium ruby. Expressive aromas of black raspberry, minerals, game, tobacco and smoke, lifted by a floral topnote. Sweet black fruit flavors show good definition but offer less lift than the Suchots today. This is more stern and tannic-and a bit high-toned on the back.
