Note di degustazione
The 2015 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Ile de Vergelesses Blanc is lovely, offering up pretty notes of buttered apples, pear and citrus. On the palate, the wine is more cohesive than it was from barrel, with a glossy attack, succulent acids and a chalky, flavorful finish.

(tasted from tank, where it was ready for bottling; these vines were picked on August 31): Pale lemon-yellow color. Subtle yeasty complexity to the aromas of pineapple, lemon, minerals and baked bread. In a very ripe, rich, pliant style but with lemon drop and mineral flavors conveying an impression of freshness (the pH here is 3.3, which Claude de Nicolay described as correct). This plush, persistent wine, which is quite low in SO2, should give early pleasure.
