The 2020 Red Wine Old Hill Ranch is a very pretty, elegant wine that shows the pedigree of this site. Sweet floral aromatics meld into a core of red/purplish fruit. The 2020 is soft and understated, as all these wines are, and yet it offers solid balance. There is a bit of astringency on the tannins that gives me some pause; otherwise the 2020 is very nicely done.
